THE SHIP
Built in 2001 at FOSEN shipyards in Norway, Hellenic Spirit is really a marvel of modern technology, for its automatisms, the comfort it offers to the passengers and its speed: it can reach 32 knots! This wonderful ferry deserves the nomination as one of the fastest vessels of its category and as the fastest one in the Adriatic Sea. It takes only 15 hours to go from Ancona (Italy) to Igoumenitsa (Greece)! It is equipped with four main engines.
